What People Are Saying

“Anak has a way of making the intangible tangible. She does it with humor, empathy and heart. Because of her business background, she has a keen understanding of the challenges many entrepreneurs face and is able to provide guidance and honest feedback through astrology.”

"This was my first Jyotish reading and I'm so glad it was with Anak. Her generosity and humor made it easy to ask questions. Anak has that rare combination of being able to really hype you up while also being no-bullshit. She knows how to dish out both with care. Throughout the session, Anak startled me with her accuracy, not only in describing my experiences in general but also oddly specific things about my life I've never heard in another astrology reading. Her fluidity as she moved across my Jyotish and Hellenistic charts, stopping regularly to regale me with relevant Hindu cosmology, gifted me a whole new set of images and insights in one session. At the end, I asked for advice about a problem I was facing. Anak gave me actionable and steadying guidance. I recommend her work wholeheartedly."
—Maeg K., Clinical Herbalist & Counseling Astrologer

Coupled with years of refining the tools of astrology this mistress of the stars has illuminated pivotal moments in my chart, thus causing me to pay special attention around key dates/times. CURIOUS ~ INTRIGUED ~ INSPIRED ?
Drop a Line.
Take the moment to enjoy finishing up a three week audit of how you use Mercury — the planet of connection that’s primarily responsible for connecting your internal and external realities.
It’s been a weird week. Monday’s Mercury Cazimi seems to have played out very literally for almost everyone I spoke with — which makes sense with Mercury being in very literal Taurus.
What has this Taurus/Scorpio eclipse story been about for you? Can you sum it up in one sentence that will both fully tell the story while being teasing enough to intrigue someone to watch?
As I write this post, the Sun and Jupiter are about to meet in the sky in what’s called a “cazimi” — a term derived from the Arabic that means “in the heart of the sun”.
The Moon is a planet that I don’t spend a lot of time talking about on print but have found myself devoting whole sessions to helping a client get better clarity on their own; but, with the eclipses just around the corner, it’s time to remedy that.
As the sun claws back its dominion over the sky from the night, so the soul’s voyage moves from the primordial waters of Pisces into the hungry fires of Aries.
Aries compels planets that occupy it to act impulsively, disregarding consequences, believing wholeheartedly, passionately that the courageous action defines them.
What does a person do when a dream that has finally been born into reality must die?
The Sun and Saturn are currently in what’s called “planetary war” in jyotish and combustion (for Saturn) in Western astrology.
Venus brings us eternity in a carefully crafted moment. Venus makes reality a dream and dreams reality.
Jupiter wants you to learn faith and pray and realize that you are subject to forces greater and stronger than your will and desires.
When ruminating on your goals for next year, continually keep in mind: Meaning, Honor, Service & Inspiration.
My eyes are on Jupiter as he slowly rolls towards Aries. We’re in the final halcyon days of a vacation by the sea before knowing the real world lies on the other side of a long, arduous set of plane rides.
As of this writing, Jupiter FINALLY went direct yesterday short after the New Moon in Sagittarius perfected — which makes this a perfect time to lean into Jupiter’s favorite jams — gratitude and giving!
In addition to the eclipses in Scorpio and Taurus, the Sun, Mercury, and Venus have all had to run the gauntlet of the South Node in the last couple of weeks.
Mars, the planet that, at its most basic, signifies our energy discharge into material reality, will spend 7 months in Gemini, starting Saturday, August 20, 2022…

Part 1 in a series on how USE astrology to optimize how you utilize your focus, energy, resources, and time.
Sure most people think the Winter Holidays are the “most wonderful time of the year”. But, around here, it’s when Venus makes her yearly sojourn through Pisces.
So. Here we are at T - ~36 hours until all the planets in our solar system will be in direct motion until April 29th.
Today, June 11th, Mercury finally breaks free of Taurus for home in Gemini today and Pluto retrogrades back in Capricorn. However, underlying these two ingresses is Saturn in Pisces slowing down significantly this week, getting ready to retrograde on June 17th and remain so for four months — which it does every year.
